The Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) (Kielhofner, 2008a) provides a theoretical approach which examines occupational participation and QOL for people with cerebrovascular disorder (Mentrup, Niehaus, & Kielhofner, 1999; Morgan & Jongbloed, 1990; Widén-Holmqvist et al., 1993). The model is proposed as the first step in the development of a paradigm of occupation for the field of occupational therapy and is designed for application in practice and research.
